Monster ending is great it forces the reader to be the judge its great

Either I'm too stupid or I'm not ready yet for Another Monster novel... Because man i just finished the anime a few days ago. But really want more Monster content so i search for more information like what happened at the ending, is Johan real or just a imagination made by Tenma and other people who know him and ect. I just finished watch the theory video and man idk what to do with that information. Hell i still haven't recovered from that Johan quote "Was my mother really trying to save me that day, or did she just confuse me with my sister?" Because it just feel so random like why the hell Johan thought about that

Alright, got about halfway through and had to comment bc I can't take it anymore lol. Dr. Roosevelt's big plan was to use Thracia and the UN to invade Persia and start the war. He brought the plan to fruition by using rumors of Persia creating robots capable of murdering humans with no problem, and more than that, mass destruction as a whole (this being the sole purpose for their existence). Once the world was convinced of this, they had no choice but to send the seven strongest robots from their respective nations to fight in the cause. In reality the war was to show not just those seven robots extreme emotions like despair and hatred, but our three villains as well. Thus the war sets the stage for the actual "meat n' taters" which is the systematic destruction of the seven most powerful robots on the planet (bc now we have some villains with a reason) so that no force can stand in the way of Dr. Roosevelt controlling the world. Brau coming in at the end and stopping Dr. Roosevelt was the one thing he didn't account for... because he knew Brau had already experienced hatred and, given his current "mental state", would side with him due to the same thought process on humans being lesser than themselves (except Brau learns compassion in the end... you know... the opposite of hatred). We can also gather that Dr. Roosevelt came AFTER Brau, but before the seven, since it's clearly stated that advanced AI know when another comes "alive"... yet he's the only robot aware of Roosevelts existence (or anyone besides the President of Thracia). The whole point of "don't feel bad for the three bad guys" is that THEY WERE TRYING TO DO EVIL SHIT. Sure terraforming the desert so the land can sustain plant life is a great cause, but really only one of these three guys wanted to do that... and he couldn't because he was forced to be a weapon. The other baddie was just "the perfect AI" that got corrupted by Abullah's hatred and thus became him. The third is an actual dictator lol (In reality the only person we're led to believe is a villain is Abullah, the other two were just tools used by him). The Persian robots themselves were basically a sacrifice by Dr. Roosevelt for his "greater good", and the only remorse felt for them is through our noble heroes playing on the fact that they are able to feel compassion and Roosevelt isn't (bc they are in fact the most advanced AI on the planet). The whole Thracia attacked Persia because they felt threatened by their "inevitable increase in prosperity and power" was again just a ruse by Dr. Roosevelt to trick political doofus' into fighting the war (like the President, hence why he was so shocked and betrayed at the end)... Honestly man, it isn't rocket science it's literature... sometimes what's right in front of you is the answer. Just as the writer intended it. Great video though, the work you put into it is admirable (yes, I watched until you were finished with it). tl;dr Just read the damn novel up there....

Just finished 20th Century Boys, and before that Billy Bat. I liked 20th Century Boys more. I enjoyed the length of the story, and the amount of times side characters pop in and out of the story. All the Urwasawa stories do that fantastically with their side characters, but I think 20th Century Boys have done it the best. Interesting how all of the author's stories seem to touch on themes of identity, manipulation, choice, and how to pick up the pieces and keep going as the world is burning down.

King Crimson is literally just a slightly more automatic version of time stop Instead of manually touching and moving things to set up events after timestop you can merely alter the fate of one element in the scene where time erase is used and you can get the desired event Example: you're about to get into a car crash? *KING CRIMSON!* make yourself pass through the other car, time resumes as it was fated, and you (and the other person that was about to crash into you) keep driving normally. This can be applied in way more situations. The thing i think would push back this stand the most is the fact that the more you skip you waste more time and skip more events, making your life pretty uneventful if you constantly use your ability.

King Crimson is by far S Tier. During time skip, he’s basically the only one conscious for a few seconds, so basically like time stop. Physical stats are pretty similar to Star Platinum and The World, as well. Precision isn’t all that good, but on the upside, if you’re including Epitaph, you can LITERALLY TELL THE FUTURE. Literally Thoth but better. Idk that’s my take.

Mandam is the ability to [Ctrl Z] time and with that you can basicaly say "NO" to anything that has happened under 6 seconds wich is cool cause it basicaly removes inconviniences and can only be a big thing if very situational ocasions like avoid quick death and the only downside is that you can get softlocket but that would likely happen from your overconfidance with the ability

who cares if you don't have free will... unless you're completely incapable of not being a dickhead. then there's a problem. nah, but people are pretty simple, funny, and dumb.

A few notes: Hermit Purple is the Ripple's Stand in the same way that Ball Breaker is the Super Spin's (and Araki has confirmed this on at least 3 occasions). And it's far from limited to spirit photography (eg Tonpetty's power of prophecy, Joseph's "your next line is", the ability to draw maps in the dust, etc). It pretty much has to be tiered in the same way as Ball Breaker. Pillar Man Modes are Stands. Light Mode and Flame Mode suck, but Wind Mode is pretty boss. Also, in this regard, we pretty much have to view the Ultimate Lifeform as a Requiem Stand (and it's my tippy top S+ tier pick). I think you underestimate Tusk, especially Acts 3&4. Teleporting through wormholes is really nifty for commuting places as long as you don't have luggage, for example. Also, those wormholes are like an even more controllable version of Cream with regard to stuff like waste disposal. Absolutely should not have been ranked lower than Cream. Gold Experience has some really useful healing abilities that you ignored. The ability to stuff a rock in someone's chest to replace and repair damaged organs is all kinds of useful, not to mention how much money you could make selling an unlimited supply of ethically sourced black market organs. In some ways this healing ability is even superior to Crazy Diamond, because for example it can heal people hit by Stands like Cream and The Hand.

3 minutes in and there's already a serious problem with the list... Hermit Purple doesn't HAVE to destroy the object it uses for spirit photography (even Joseph uses a regular tube TV at one point), it's just that it takes a while for the user to train their powers, and at the beginning Joseph could more easily focus his willpower by delivering a hamon overdrive chop. More importantly, Hermit Purple also provides precognition (the ability to see the future), nearly unbreakable vines that can be controlled like tentacles, and mind-reading. Besides that, you didn't touch on its actual weakness - as a pure manifestation of Hamon, Hermit Purple REQUIRES that its user be of strong mind, otherwise it slowly kills them (see Holy).

Honestly dissapointed in the overall coverage the anime itself seems to have recived almost no one has covered the story. And while this is primarily about the manga i still very much enjoyed it.

As Dio said in part 6, Every stand is strong in one or other way. So this ranking just a summary for the regular use. Just remember that.

i believe in the ending, johan doesnt wake up or talk to Dr tenma- that was made clear in the manga. That was a conversion dr temna had in his head- and in reality- a question imposed to everyone regarded identity and being chosen

Just finished, and yeah there were parts where I think I missed. So when I got to the end, I was confused on who the teddy was, and what it's backstory. Like I thought it would be like a skynet thing or something, and maybe it received all the data that was in the other A.Is through an online storage system? Like Ted was the cloud or something, and thus why it became resentful to humans. I enjoyed the anime though.
